Sean Milligan, a bottom 13% analyst from Janney Montgomery Scott downgrades ENVX to a hold rating and announces their ENVX price target of $10.00, on Oct 31, 2024.
Janney Montgomery Scott's Sean Milligan downgraded their rating on Enovix (NASDAQ: ENVX) from Strong Buy to Hold on 2024/10/31. The analyst also announced a $10 price target.
Milligan said that the catalyst for their downgrade was Enovix's 2024/10/30 announcement of a $100M equity offering.
The analyst expressed concern about the timing of the announcement, pointing out that it came one day after the company's Q3 2024 earnings call, during which management addressed concerns over its liquidity.
Milligan said that dilution isn't the issue at approximately 5%.
"We take issue with the timing given the conference call messaging," the analyst, who noted that Enovix will need additional capital in early 2026 in Janney Montgomery Scott's model but argued that "anything beyond 2025 feels like a challenge to forecast given the lack of firm customer commitments."
Michael Legg, a top 33% analyst from Benchmark reiterates ENVX with a strong buy rating and maintains their ENVX price target from $25.00 to $25.00, on Oct 30, 2024.
