Methodology

We use WallStreetZen's own internal pageview and search data as a proxy for retail investor interest. We've adjusted the data to exclude external traffic sources as well as repeat searches, which could skew results, and normalized it to a scale of 0-100.

Price and volume data is provided by Sharadar. Data is updated daily at midnight Eastern Time. Data is provided as-is with no guarantees of its correctness.

Correlations were calculated using the Pearson correlation coefficient.

Is our data set statistically significant? Absolutely not.

Directionally correct? Possibly.
