Zen Strategies FAQ

We see 2 different approaches that will work wonderfully for investors. So read below about both methods and then move ahead with the one that suits you best.

Approach 1: The More Stocks the Merrier

This is for the kind of investor who has no fear of “information overload”. They can never have enough good stock ideas to review. That is because they are willing to put in the additional work to research each pick to narrow down to the ones that end up in their portfolio.

This person will likely peruse several of the strategies frequently for the freshest ideas. That’s because the lists are updated daily. So the more frequently you look…the more often you will uncover the next big winner.

Approach 2: Time Savings

Not everyone wants to review that many stocks. And not everyone wants to be glued to their computer all day long to monitor investments. Thus, here is a great approach that only takes 10-15 minutes a month to dial into stellar performance.

Step 1: Select which strategies you want to follow. We recommend using at least 2 strategies to help diversify your holdings. (Which strategies are right for you? More help on that with the next FAQs).

Step 2: Buy all the positions equally weighted in your portfolio. This doesn’t have to be an exact science since prices move every second. Close to equally weighted is plenty good enough.

Step 3: Set a calendar reminder to rebalance 4 weeks later and repeat the steps above by selling all the stocks no longer in the strategies and buying the new ones.

As you can see this process will truly only take 10 minutes a month and yet still be able to tap into great results. Yes, you can do it more frequently if you like, but we believe it could lead to overtrading the account with very little extra results.

Every market day at approximately 4:30am ET is when our computer model recalibrates all the market data to put forward the most timely picks.

No this doesn’t mean there will be a different group of 7 stocks every day. However, it is likely that a screen could be around 50% different over the course of a month.

Long story short, every day you will find our top 7 picks for all the strategies displayed proudly on the site.

Editor in Chief, Steve Reitmeister, will provide quick insights that will help you determine which are the best strategies to tap into now. That may be about market direction and whether it’s time to get more bullish or bearish. Plus he will share details on the latest performance update.

All in all the purpose of this weekly email is to help you get the most out of your Zen Strategies membership. Monday seems the most fitting day to send this email to start your investing week on the right foot.

This is by far the most common question. But truly there is not a 1 size fits all answer.

That’s because some investors are more aggressive while others are more conservative.

Some believe in the virtues of value investing, while others may believe more fully in growth or value or momentum principles.

Then again some will just want to see which strategies are performing best, which is why we provide such in-depth performance details. (Average annual return as well as for each individual year).

The key is that every different kind of investor should be able to find at least one if not more strategies that are perfectly suited for their investing style.

However, we strongly advise that investors follow at least 2 strategies. That is because the market is always rotating. Some sectors of the market will become hot while others go cold. Therefore using 2 or more strategies is likely to produce smoother results for investors over time.

We will update performance details on the site every market day after all market data is available.

Then please reach out to us now so we can help get you on the right track.
