HXL Overview
Hexcel Corporfation manufactures structural materials. The company's products are used in commercial and military aircraft, space launch vehicles and satellites, wind turbine blades, sports equipment, and automotive products. Hexcel works with Airbus Group, The Boeing Company, and others. Hexcel was formed by the merger of California Reinforced Plastics, Ciba Composites, and Hercules Composites Products Division. The company was founded in 1948 and is based in Stamford, CT.
