Graham Holdings Company is a diversified conglomerate that owns, among many other holdings, the digital marketing company SocialCode, the online magazine Slate, Foreign Policy magazine and ForeignPolicy.com, Graham Media Group (7 television stations), education company Kaplan, content and marketplace company Leaf Group, 11 restaurants and entertainment venues, and automobile dealerships. Graham Holdings owned Cable One until it was spun off in 2015. Known as The Washington Post Company until 2013 when Jeff Bezos (Amazon.com) bought the newspaper, Graham Holdings was founded in 1877 and is headquartered in Arlington County, VA.
