CSAN Overview

Cosan SA distributes fuel internationally through franchised service stations under the Shell brand. It also produces bioethanol, sugar and energy from sugar cane. Other verticals include petroleum refining, the operation of convenience stores, the manufacture and sale of automotive and industrial lubricants, and the production and sale of liquefied petroleum gas. The company's Gas and Power segment distributes natural gas to customers in the industrial, residential, commercial, automotive, and cogeneration sectors. A subsidiary of Cosan Ltd., Cosan SA was founded in 1936 and is headquartered in São Paulo, Brazil.
