CNP Overview

CenterPoint Energy, Inc. is an electriicy and natural gas utility holding company in the U.S. Its regulated electric utility provides transmission and distribution services to customers in the Houston area, southern Indiana, and west central Ohio. The company has natural gas distribution systems in 8 states. CenterPoint owns a majority interest in Enable Midstream Partners, a partnership operating natural gas processing and storage facilities and 21,000 miles of pipelines in the midcontinent region. CenterPoint Energy was founded in 1866 and is headquartered in Houston, TX.
