ANET Overview
Arista Networks (formerly Arastra) is a computer networking company that designs and sells multilayer network switches to deliver software-defined networking for large datacenter, cloud computing, high-performance computing, and high-frequency trading environments. Its cloud networking solutions include extensible operating systems as well as gigabit Ethernet switching and routing platforms. It provides post-contract customer support services (technical support, hardware repair, and parts replacement beyond standard warranty, bug fixes, patches, and upgrades). Arastra was founded in 2004 and is headquartered in Santa Clara, CA.
