ALB Overview

Albemarle Corporation manufactures specialty chemicals (lithium, bromine, and catalysts). Offerings based on those chemicals include butyllithium and lithium aluminum hydride, products used in fire safety solutions, fluidized catalytic cracking catalysts and additives, and performance catalyst solutions. Its customers include companies in the energy storage, petroleum refining, and consumer electronics sectors, among others. The company was founded in 1887 and is headquartered in Charlotte, NC.
