VZ Overview

Verizon Communications Incorporated offers communications, technology, information, and entertainment products and services to consumers, businesses, and governmental entities in the U.S. and internationally. Its Consumer segment provides internet access, wireless equipment (smartphones and other handsets, and wireless-enabled internet devices. The Business segment provides private networking, private cloud connectivity, virtual and software defined networking, and internet access services. Verizon has 27 million wireless retail postpaid connections and 477,000 wireline broadband connections. Verizon was incorporated in 1983 and is headquartered in New York, NY.
