OXY Overview

Occidental Petroleum Corporation explores for and produces oil and gas in the U.S., the Middle East, Africa, and Latin America. Its Oil and Gas segment explores and produces oil, NGLs, and natural gas. The Chemical segment (OxyChem) manufactures and markets basic chemicals and vinyls. The Midstream and Marketing segment purchases, markets, processes, transports and stores oil, NGL, natural gas, carbon dioxide, and power. Occidental Petroleum was founded in 1920 and is headquartered in Houston, TX.
