AXL Overview

American Axle & Manufacturing, Inc. manufactures driveline and metal forming technologies that support electric, hybrid, and internal combustion vehicles in the U.S. Key products include axles, drive shafts, front axles, universal joints, and sealing and thermal-management products. The company has a technology development agreement with Suzhou Inovance Automotive Ltd. and REE Automotive Ltd. AAM was founded in 1994 and is headquartered in Detroit, MI.
