Dear WallStreetZen Member,
We just updated the Zen Ratings model and want to pull back the curtain on these recent improvements.
In short, it's all about changes to the AI Factor inside the model. None of the other 114 fundamental factors have changed.
Remember that AI gets smarter over time. And thus the Zen Ratings is a living model that will adapt to new information when it leads to better stock picking.
Indeed that is what is happening now as our Data Science team is convinced they have unlocked more alpha for our customers.
This change is already live on the website. Plus we have updated the performance charts to reflect end of 2025 results:

I want to address the one oddity you might have noticed. You may be scratching your head how the +28.50% average annual return is an improvement over our previous +32.52% results we showed for A rated stocks.
The answer is two fold.
First, the new AI data was only available from the beginning of 2006. Whereas the previous version started in 2003. Thus, we are missing the 3 first years of a massive bull rally which tamps down results across all 5 letter grades.
But also note how F rated stocks used to be down only -8.02% and now that shows as a much more painful -12.86% loss. That is a good thing.
It still says that the Zen Ratings continues to do an excellent job of pointing out the stocks to avoid and thus shines a light on the special A & B stocks that will have you on the path to outperformance.
The second issue is that the AI is much more focused on improvement in returns for the most recent periods…and less concerned with many years ago.
So yes, we do have a nice improvement to the results for the most recent years. More importantly, we believe that will continue to give you an edge in the months and years ahead.
So your next step should be the same as the last step.
Please continue to use the Zen Ratings on WallStreetZen.com to enjoy a consistent advantage over the market.
And if you want to take your understanding of the Zen Ratings to the next level, then be sure to join me this coming Monday @ 7pm ET for our next live training session.
Wishing you a world of investment success!
