Analyst Color

Citigroup's Ronald Josey raised their price target on Pinterest (NYSE: PINS) by 13.6% from $44 to $50 on 2025/08/09. The analyst maintained their Strong Buy rating on the stock.

Pinterest reported its Q2 2025 earnings.

Josey said they were incrementally bullish on the name because of Pinterest's accelerating revenue and monthly active user growth.

The analyst recommended buying the dip if there is one.

Earnings Report

For Q2 2025, Pinterest reported:

  • EPS of $0.33, which missed the Zacks Consensus Estimate of $0.34 but beat, by 37.5%, Q2 2024’s $0.24.
  • Revenue of $998.23M, which beat the Zacks Consensus Estimate by 2.42% and, by 17%, Q2 2024’s $853.68M.

For Q3 2025, management guided:

  • Revenue of $1.03B to $1.05B.

CEO Bill Ready commented: “I’m proud of our Q2 results—delivering 17% revenue growth and another quarter of record users. 

“We’re also excited that Gen Z has grown to over half of our user base.

“Three years into our business transformation, I’ve never been more confident in Pinterest’s ability to deliver for our users and advertisers. 

“We’ve found our best product market fit ever by becoming a personalized shopping destination for users and an AI-powered performance platform for advertisers. 

“With this focus, we believe we’re well-positioned to further capture market share.”
