JP Morgan's Jeffrey Zekauskas raised their price target on Linde (NASDAQ: LIN) by 1% from $525 to $530 on 2026/05/05. The analyst maintained their Strong Buy rating on the stock.

Linde PLC reported its Q1 2026 earnings.

Raising their price target, Zekauskas said the company's underlying business fundamentals improved in the quarter.

For Q1 2026, Linde plc reported:

  • EPS of $4.33, which beat the Zacks Consensus Estimate of $4.27 and Q1 2025's $3.95.
  • Revenue of $8.78B, which beat the Zacks Consensus Estimate of $8.51B and Q1 2025's $8.11B.

Management guided:

For Q2 2026:

  • EPS of  $4.40 to $4.50, representing 8% to 10% Y/Y growth.

For FY 2026:

  • EPS of $17.60 to $17.90, representing 7% to 9% Y/Y growth.

CEO Sanjiv Lamba commented: “Linde employees delivered another solid quarter with 10% EPS growth, 30% operating margin, and 24% return on capital under increasingly challenging global conditions.

"These results underscore the resiliency of our operating model, discipline of capital allocation, and perseverance of management actions.
