I continue to focus my new selections on stocks that go through the extra stringent process of showing up in our various Zen Strategies models.
In this case Qorvo (QRVO) is a semiconductor company that proudly appears in our Technology strategy which has powered ahead by +13.5% in just the past two months.
One of the best things to know about QRVO is that it is a US based semiconductor firm which is beneficial when you hear about semiconductors being considered a core product that needs to be produced in the US as a matter of national defense. So, this lowers much of the concern over how tariffs might affect future results.
Second, I see a bit of a turnaround taking place in their earnings outlook after declining estimates for the better part of the last 3 years. This past quarters 46% earnings beat put investors on notice with future earnings prospects on the rise and fair value targets zooming higher.
Of course, the Zen Ratings is picking up on this fundamental improvement given this roll call of excellent factors in their favor:
Top 26% AI Factor
Top 23% Sentiment
Top 18% Growth
Top 6% Value (just a few ticks shy of A territory. More like B+++)
Top 4% Financials
Add it altogether and not just A rated overall but actually in the top 2.4% of all stocks analyzed.
On the upside potential front so much depends on whether this seeming turnaround has traction. Meaning a string of 40%+ beats in the coming year would easily have shares pushing north of $150. That is plenty attractive to consider with us picking up these growth and value shares today around $91.
