The shares of EnerSys (ENS) have been in and out of my various newsletter portfolios over the years because I love the story for their energy back up business. This is especially attractive when you have an antiquated power grid in the US leading to more outages than necessary.
They are coming off their 13th straight earnings beat. However, like many companies there was some language in their quarterly report that said future earnings outlook was a bit of a question mark because of tariffs.
This had analysts trimming the earnings outlook for this year...but they actually kept the 2026 outlook intact at $10.53. Thus, with shares trading under $90 we are talking about a great value proposition.
Indeed this comes shining through with the Zen Ratings valuation score. Not just an A rating, but actually in the 99.72 percentile with very few companies scoring better on value.
Beyond that we have an A overall Zen Rating in the top 1% of all stocks plus,
Top 18% Growth
Top 17% Sentiment
Top 11% Financials
Top 4% AI Factors
And again, top 0.3% for Value
Top Wall Street analysts are picking up on this growth and value story with a street high $120 target price. However, that is not even a 12 PE on 2026 earnings.
Honestly, I see ENS finishing up next year closer to $150 with doubling potential before its two year anniversary in the portfolio. Thus, I think it’s time to ENERGIZE your portfolio with Enersys shares.
