Bioventus (BVS) is truly one of my favorite stocks. That’s because it provides a great blend of aggressive and conservative qualities making it a pick for all seasons.
On top of that shares have endured a round of profit taking allowing us to snap it up now for 20% off the August highs.
Let’s take it from the top.
They are riding a massive demographic tailwind for the entire medical field in the aging of the population which thus requires more healthcare. That is perfect for a company focused on bones and joints that unfortunately do fail more as we age.
This provides the growth that appeals to more aggressive investors during the most bullish of times. And when the market gets more defensive then other investors note they are a healthcare company providing them safe haven.
This used to be the #1 ranked stock in the entire Zen Ratings database back in July when I first added it to my Zen Investor portfolio.
Now it is the #25 highest ranked stock in our universe making it more attractive than 99.5% of all stocks analyzed.
Here is the breakdown of its stellar qualities:
Top 22% Sentiment
Top 18% Growth
Top 13% Value
Top 12% Momentum
Top 10% Safety
Top 3% Financials
Top 0.5% of all stocks. Yes A rated…but perhaps better stated as A+
BVS displays incredibly broad strength across the 115 factor review of the model. Truly no weakness to be found.
Again, like I shared above, this makes it a stock for all seasons which is important right now as the market has been a bit dicey.
I suspect they have the makeup of a firm that could double in price by the end of 2027 as long as they deliver on their growth expectations.
Their top scores for Financials and Growth improve the odds of that happening, so let’s bag our shares now especially after the recent 20% dip.
What To Do Next?
Bioventus (BVS) is just one of 20 stellar stocks found in my Zen Investor portfolio.
Yes, that same Zen Investor portfolio up more than 50% this year thanks to the combination of the Zen Ratings and my greater than 40 years of investing experience.
I know that sounds like BS which is why you can check out my daily performance tracking here.
