Betterware de Mexico (BWMX) is the 13th highest ranked stock in the Zen Ratings universe out of nearly 4,600. Has a forward PE of 7 and pays a 6.7% dividend yield.
Maybe I should end the conversation there as any believer in the Zen Ratings should already be excited. But let’s spell out the rest of the story just for good measure.
This essentially is a modern “Tupperware” company that is mostly focused on the Mexican market. Yet given recent strategic acquisitions they are expanding into Brazil, and then perhaps other parts of Latin America.
So when I say “tupperware company”, yes I mean that they have an army of independent distributors who have sales parties in their houses just like the Tupperware sales approach of the past.
We may scoff at that here in the states, but it is a preferred method of selling household products in other parts of the world like Mexico which helps explain their tremendous growth in recent years. And 28% expected earnings growth going into next year.
Here is a bonus that makes it a much more timely investment…and that is the dual catalyst that comes from the peace deal with Iran.
Lower energy prices lowers the cost of their products which are made of plastic (where oil is a main ingredient).
And lower energy prices keeps more money in the pockets of their customers and thus more willing to buy their products.
As noted above, the Zen Ratings is already picking up on their fundamental prowess as the 13th highest rated stock overall. Here is the breakdown.
Top 21% Safety
Top 9% Value & Financials
Top 8% AI Factor (pointing to the most timely shares)
Top 5% Growth
This is strong across the board leading to it being the 13th highest ranked stock in the Zen Ratings universe.
Wall Street analysts are digging this one as well with the average fair value forecast calling for 71% more upside in the year ahead. Yet if their Brazilian expansion goes well, then a 100% gain is not out of the question.
All the while we can cash those fat dividend checks to pad our final results. Hopefully you see how Betterware deserves a spot in your stock cupboard.
