DA Davidson's Gil Luria raised their price target on Microsoft (NASDAQ: MSFT) by 11.1% from $450 to $500 on 2025/05/02. The analyst maintained their Strong Buy rating on the stock.

Microsoft reported its Q3 2025 earnings.

The reacceleration in Azure was the main driver of the quarter's "strong" earnings, with roughly half of Azure's growth attributable to AI services, Luria told readers.

"Microsoft ranks as DA Davidson's Top Pick within its Mag-6 coverage," the analyst noted.

Earnings Report

For Q3 2025, Microsoft reported:

  • EPS of $3.46, which beat the Zacks Consensus Estimate of $3.20 and, by 18%, Q3 2024’s $2.94.
  • Revenue of $70.07B, which beat the Zacks Consensus Estimate by 2.46% and, by 13%, Q3 2024’s $61.86B.

Management did not provide EPS and revenue guidance in its press release.

Chairman & CEO Satya Nadella commented: “Cloud and AI are the essential inputs for every business to expand output, reduce costs, and accelerate growth.

“From AI infra and platforms to apps, we are innovating across the stack to deliver for our customers.”

Executive Vice President & CFO Amy Hood added, “We delivered a strong quarter with Microsoft Cloud revenue of $42.4B, up 20% (up 22% in constant currency) Y/Y driven by continued demand for our differentiated offerings.”
