Just about $150. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Why? Because I was curious to see if it was worthwhile. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Spoiler: It was. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>At writing in the summer of 2025, my net return is 22.0%. (I&#8217;ll dig into the specifics below.)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In my opinion, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.wallstreetzen.com\/go\/fundrise\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Fundrise\u2019s Innovation Fund<\/a> is the easiest way for non-accredited investors to gain diversified exposure to pre-IPO tech companies. Considering its accessible minimum investment and an easy-to-use website, I would recommend it to anyone. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In this review, I&#8217;ll share experience so you can decide if the fund is right for you. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Let\u2019s get to it.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>Disclaimer: I am an investor in the Fundrise Innovation Fund.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2><strong>What is The Fundrise Innovation Fund?&nbsp;<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Launched in 2022, the Innovation Fund is a diversified venture capital fund. It&#8217;s offered through investment platform Fundrise, which also offers diversified funds for real estate and private credit exposure. You can find out more in my <a href=\"https:\/\/www.wallstreetzen.com\/blog\/fundrise-review\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Fundrise review<\/a>.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Fundrise has a proven track record, with over 2 million investors having invested over $7 billion on the platform. Typically, only sites like <a href=\"https:\/\/www.wallstreetzen.com\/go\/hiive-accredited-investors\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Hiive<\/a> offer this type of exposure \u2014 and they require accreditation. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>With the Innovation Fund, <em>without<\/em> accreditation, you can gain access to a diversified portfolio across AI, machine leaning, data infrastructure, and yet more high-growth sectors \u2014 all within a single investment vehicle.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Innovation Fund primarily targets late-stage startups approaching IPO, but it also includes early-stage investments and can hold companies after they go public.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>For example, right now the mix includes cutting-edge, private tech companies, including <a href=\"https:\/\/www.wallstreetzen.com\/blog\/how-to-buy-anthropic-stock\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Anthropic<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.wallstreetzen.com\/blog\/how-to-buy-databricks-stock\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Databricks<\/a>, and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.wallstreetzen.com\/blog\/how-to-buy-open-ai-stock\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">OpenAI<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It\u2019s structured as an evergreen fund. This means it continuously raises and invests capital over time, instead of closing after a typical VC cycle of 5\u201310 years. I did not invest much \u2014 just about $150. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Since then, my net return annualized is 22.0%. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Since I didn&#8217;t invest too much in the fund, this isn&#8217;t a huge amount of money. Fundrise has attracted legions of fans \u2014 over 2 million people invest on the platform, with over $7 billion invested.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>At writing, the platform reports 431,030,764.06 cumulative net distributions earned by advisory clients.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4><strong>Security:<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>Fundrise employs bank-level encryption protocols and hosts its data on secure servers compliant with AWS (Amazon Web Services) security standards.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>That said, all investments carry risk \u2014 including the potential loss of principal.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"is-layout-flex wp-block-buttons\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-button\"><a class=\"wp-block-button__link has-white-color has-text-color has-background wp-element-button\" href=\"https:\/\/www.wallstreetzen.com\/go\/fundrise\" style=\"background-color:#446bca\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>Check out the Innovation Fund<\/strong><\/a><\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<h2><strong>Final Verdict: Should You Invest?<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>I&#8217;ve been very happy as a Fundrise Innovation Fund investor. Will you be, too? <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Fundrise Innovation Fund may be for you if:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li>You want access to pre-IPO companies<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>You&#8217;re patient (less liquidity than traditional stocks)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>You&#8217;re OK  with the 1.85% annual fee<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>I have allocated 3.5% of my portfolio to the Innovation Fund. But considering my net return, I\u2019m looking into increasing my exposure.
