Dapper Labs has raised $613 million across 7 funding rounds, and the company\u2019s latest valuation sits at $7.6 billion. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Some of the main investors who\u2019ve helped raise the aforementioned $613 million include:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li>Coatue<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Andreessen Horowitz<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Union Square Ventures<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Venrock<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>GIC<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>North West Quadrant Ventures<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Google Ventures \u2014 the venture capital arm of Alphabet, AKA Google (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.wallstreetzen.com\/stocks\/us\/nasdaq\/googl\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">NASDAQ: <\/a><a href=\"https:\/\/www.wallstreetzen.com\/stocks\/us\/nasdaq\/googl\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">GOOGL<\/a>)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h.1v5znll613bz\"><strong>Does Google Own Dapper Labs?<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Nope. While the VC arm of Alphabet, AKA Google (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.wallstreetzen.com\/stocks\/us\/nasdaq\/googl\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">NASDAQ: <\/a><a href=\"https:\/\/www.wallstreetzen.com\/stocks\/us\/nasdaq\/googl\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">GOOGL<\/a>), Google Ventures, did participate in the company\u2019s series A and series D funding rounds, this is a far cry from majority ownership.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Dapper Labs has also enjoyed investments from various athletes and celebrities, including Will Smith, Ashton Kutcher, Michael Jordan, Kevin Durant, and many others.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>To offer more context regarding Google\u2019s stake in the company, the series A funding round raised $12.9 million, and it had 29 investors, while the series D round raised $250 million through 10 investors. Both of these companies produce hardware necessary for the infrastructure of blockchain, graphics processing units needed for gaming, and both companies have made investments in the blockchain space.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Although both of these are great companies, as of July 2023, AMD is the better buy, due to a variety of more favorable metrics. Not only is the online marketplace still in business, but they\u2019re apparently keeping up with new trends.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The online-commerce giant acquired NFT marketplace KnownOrigin in 2022 and is still hiring Web3 developers \u2014 a potential sign of continued expansion in this direction. eBay has even started launching its own exclusive NFT collections.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>As an added bonus, eBay has previously signaled that they are interested in cryptocurrency integration, though there\u2019s no specific timeframe.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>DraftKings (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.wallstreetzen.com\/stocks\/us\/nasdaq\/dkng\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">NASDAQ: DKNG<\/a>) is America\u2019s largest sports-betting company. The company has also recently purchased Scarcity Labs and entered the NFT space with a marketplace of its own based on the Ethereum blockchain.<\/p>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"aligncenter\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.wallstreetzen.com\/go\/tradingview-pro\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.wallstreetzen.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/07\/image3-2.png\" alt=\"Image3\"\/><\/a><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n<p>With a popular subject matter, brand-name recognition, and plenty of exclusive partnerships, you should definitely keep your eye out on DraftKings. Although these figures are still a far cry from the peaks NFTs experienced, sales have exceeded $150,000 on numerous occasions in the last couple of months.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It all boils down to this &#8211; with plentiful funding, experience in the space, and projects that still put up impressive numbers, if NFTs are something you\u2019d like to invest in, Dapper Labs deserves consideration.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The bottom line?
