Its shares are not listed on any stock exchanges.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This means you can\u2019t buy SpaceX stock &#8211; at least, not directly.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Right now, SpaceX is owned privately by Elon Musk, a few public companies, and many private equity firms.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>However, as we learned with <a href=\"https:\/\/www.wallstreetzen.com\/blog\/how-to-buy-tiktok-stock\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">TikTok stock<\/a>, there may be a way to invest in SpaceX indirectly.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2>How to Invest in SpaceX Stock (Indirectly)<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Although you can\u2019t buy shares of SpaceX as a retail investor, you can invest in it indirectly by buying shares in one of the companies that owns it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>There are only 2 publicly-traded companies that have invested in SpaceX:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul><li><strong>Bank of America Corporation &#8211; <\/strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.wallstreetzen.com\/stocks\/us\/nyse\/bac\" target=\"_blank\">NYSE: BAC<\/a><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><ol>Bank of America is a $270 billion investment bank and financial services holding company headquartered in Charlotte, North Carolina.&nbsp;<\/ol><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><ol>Bank of America invested $250 million in SpaceX in November 2018 at a valuation of around $30 billion. Its position in SpaceX is likely worth $1 billion.<\/ol><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul><li><strong>Alphabet Inc (parent company of Google) &#8211; <\/strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.wallstreetzen.com\/stocks\/us\/nasdaq\/googl\" target=\"_blank\">NASDAQ: GOOGL<\/a><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><ol>Google is a $1.5 trillion company which primarily sells advertising services across its Google brands and YouTube. It also invests in a variety of early stage tech companies.<\/ol><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><ol>Alphabet invested $900 million in SpaceX in January 2015 at a valuation of $12 billion. It was part of another $337 million investment in December 2021. In total, Google\u2019s investment is likely worth more than $10 billion.<\/ol><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The other investors in SpaceX are all private equity firms, which are not public companies. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Remember, both Bank of America and Alphabet (Google) have significant businesses, which their investment in SpaceX is just a small piece of.
